Our Ministries

Standards of Counseling

  • Our biblical counselors do not represent themselves as having qualifications, affiliations, or
experience that they do not possess, nor will they represent themselves as licensed by the state.
    unless they are so certified.
  • Our biblical counselors provide their services as a ministry of discipleship.
  • Our biblical counselors recognize the need in many instances for early medical evaluations to
determine whether the counselee’s behavior may be a result of organic dysfunction.
  • Our biblical counselors may make a referral to other biblical counselors, pastors, or teachers who
are rounded and trained in biblical thought, perspective, methodology, and conduct.
  • Our biblical counselors shall maintain in a highly professional manner all notes, records, and
information pertaining to the counselor. Records shall be confidential and securely maintained.
but it is recognized that confidentiality does not irrevocably prohibit the counselor from providing
information in the utilization of church and/or state resources where necessary.
  • Our biblical counselors encourage the counselee to maintain strong local church involvement.
and will emphasize the need for continued authoritative biblical faith, instruction, and conduct.
